We are delighted that Mercedes-Benz West London (formally Brentford) has been handed over and is open for business. The new facility sits on a 0.87 hectare site and comprises over 13,200m2 (43,300ft2) of floor space which accommodates: 20-25 space car showroom, 35 bay workshop, wet & dry valeting facilities, offices, welfare facilities, parts distribution hub and parking for approximately 400 cars accommodated across 5 stories.
This scheme has been one of the more challenging we have undertaken for Mercedes-Benz Retail Group in our 14 year long association with them. Our team have had to devise innovative solutions in answer to the numerous technical challenges thrown up by incorporating some of the original building structures and features (such as the car tower installed in the 2008 renovations that started our journey working with Mercedes-Benz) and the implementation of the new Mercedes-Benz Mar2020 Corporate Identity. Coupled with the need to ensure the business continued to operate throughout the construction in temporary facilities that we designed in an old factory at Kew Bridge Road. Our team has had it's work cut out!
