Over the past 8 years, we have been involved in a variety of BREEAM projects our first, South Essex Colleges Luckyn Lane campus, reaching Very Good. This year we received the BREEAM certificate for Mercedes-Benz West London. Whilst not our first car dealership to receive a BREEAM rating, Mercedes West London has achieved the second-highest rating of 'Excellent'! Working closely with our BREEAM consultant Tom Sheldrake at AECOM we achieved an overall score of over 70%, scoring highly in management, energy and land use. Our strategy to retain and imaginatively integrate the original concrete and steel structures into the new scheme was key and enabled a substantial reduction in waste materials being sent to landfill. Well done and thank you to the entire team on this challenging project for making it such a success!
