This month sees the 10th Anniversary of Mercedes-Benz Brooklands My Service Lounge. In 2012 Mercedes-Benz rolled out their new aftersales facilities to customers which were branded ‘My Service’ and are still in place today. The My Service lounges were installed in dealerships across the country following a major investment by Mercedes-Benz Retail Group UK in their after-sales offering. Ayshford Sansome was responsible for designing and overseeing the implementation of the building alterations necessary to implement the services. New facilities such as business lounges, quiet zones, children’s play areas, and improved conveniences were planned into over 20 existing dealerships across the country, from Manchester down to London, of which Brooklands was one. Although 10 years old, we think the design still holds its own after a decade in the ever-changing retail world.
